DJ Merci (FR)

For the first release of 2024 we are very proud and happy to present to you DJ Merci!
An artist who has been on our radar for a long time now and of whom we've always been very impressed with the quality and consistency of his work. Delivering 4 solid House tunes, DJ Merci takes us on a journey through his style which is drenched in the true way of making House music, like they used to make it in the 90s.

Building on that legacy he creates his own sound and brings us an EP that could possibly deserve the stamp "Classic" in the future.

On the A-side we have Henry Street and Disco Jam, which provide us with the solid grooves and punchy beats.
While we take it a bit more relaxed and chill on the B-side with Flânerie (French for lounging about) and Walking On The Beach.

We hope you are as amazed and inspired by his music as we are! We are very happy with such a solid start of the new year!!

With already a lot of successful releases under his belt on labels like Nervous Records, he is certainly one to watch.
And we are happy to welcome him for his debut on the label.
With a bit darker deep house vibes, Destroy takes you deep into the night in the middle of a sweaty dark club, the sexy, hypnotizing vocals leading you to the peak of the night.
2 solid tracks with great club potential!

Rawdio (BE)

It has been a while since labelhead Rawdio's appearance on the label with a full EP.
With a hyperfocus on productions lately, he is now ready to unleash a lot of new stuff into the world.
Starting with this 3-tracker.
"Malibu" is a happy piano rave house tune that should get the party started. The piano bounces around some nice chord progression contrasted with a more progressive sounding pad effect and a solid bassline.
"Megacut" is a big bassline groover with oldschool 909 percussions working together to create a classic house vibe.
"Missed Opportunities" is a lovely B-side track, that takes things a bit slower and deeper, whilst still exploring some gentle piano progressions and nice soundscapings.
Hope you find your favourite amongst them ;-)

Bendrik (BE)

Bendrik’s longtime love affair with music sees him mix a wide range of genres and styles. With the sole intent of making his audience smile as much as he does behind the decks. We are more than happy to finally welcome him as a friend on the label!
Bendrik delivers 3 delicious tracks with each their own stlye, from deep to acid to breaks.
And he comes together on an uplifting piano house beat with labelhead Rawdio.
We hope you like it as much as we do, because this bad boy is ready for summer!

Colau & Saumane (ARG)

Two Argentinian "diablos" are joining the House Cookin' roster this time. With some groove and funk infused tunes.
Saumane and Colau's shared love for house music brought them together, each with their unique background and style.
Saumane, coming from a disco and classic house background, and Colau, with a passion for deep house, combined their talents to create a grooving house track.Their collaboration began when they met one day at Colau's studio, hoping to produce something fresh and interesting. Saumane shared some drum samples he had been saving on a playlist, which Colau quickly dropped into an Ableton Live session. With the Moog Sub Phatty in Saumane's hands, they crafted a jumpy bass line, while Colau added his magic touch on the keys with the Korg SV-1.
As the track began to take shape, they knew it was missing one final piece to bring it all together. After much searching, they found the perfect vocal to fill and complete the track, solidifying their idea. They decided to add their own voices to the track as well, recording vocals that perfectly complemented the music. After much tweaking and editing, their voices became an integral part of the track, giving it a personal touch. The result was a seamless collaboration, combining their unique styles to create a vibrant and catchy house track.

“I love house music, simple as that. I adore it. I think about it all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Sometimes I think it's just too much, but I just can't help it - just like Deee-lite used to sing,
"Groove Is In The Heart".
Every artist has his influences and inspiration, and very often you can see the manifestation of an artist's background, journey, and exploration in the world of artistic creation through other artists which have inspired them.”

Tree Threes (UK)

Since his time in Point Blank Music School in London his first release was on French producer Phil Weeks’ Robsoul “OG House Vol.1” compilation. He went on to win Beatports Producer Challenge 2020, this is really when it began for Tree Threes. With influences from US/UK Garage , Broken-Beat, Disco & Early 80’s & 90’s house.

“With each release I’m finding a unique sound to my style with all my influences combined, I hope anyway ..ha! ”

About the EP:

“Other Side”

Is a track that I feel the style I want to achieve is close to that , disco , deep house vibe ....rolling along. I would love to hear it in a club environment to hear how it sounds. I used a lot of samples on this one , found a lovely Electric piano sample & put it into my keyboard to create a nice simple chord progression to tie all those samples into place.

“You can find the peace”

Is a really personal song for me as it’s been a tough couple of years not been able to see family because of covid , so I really wanted to make a track that would maybe help people find some peace, if only for at least 5 mins anyway. As making this track helped me a lot & I feel a lot of people have been through similar experiences as myself these past two years.

Katermurr (SWI)

Based in Basel, Switzerland. In love with the early US/UK garage house sound and in general everything that has a groovy, deep, soulful touch. He always tries to get some emotion in his tracks, that’s why you find a lot of piano riffs and pads in the productions. They are mostly inspired by the garage house sound, but in the end it’s also a bit what comes out of his favorite instruments, the Korg M1, Korg Wavestation and few more.

About the EP:

“Dream Within A Dream” is based on a sample from some wannabe shaman from Mexico, it’s from his audio book in English. I was a bit fed up with the 90s sound, so I tried to make a deep house track which uses more „synthezised“ sounds like the dubby chords that you hear.

“Lemon Soda” is a classic piano house track. It reminded me on summer vacation in the mediterrean and carefree sunny days. So I called it after an Italian soft drink. My aim was also to get an advertising contract with that particular soft drink company – just kidding, hehe.

AFM (COL)

"Moments of Life" is a very special release because it is created and inspired by the experiences of the last year of my life. It can be said that it is a very sentimental EP that transmits many vibes and you can perceive feelings of joy, emotion and even a little melancholy, but for me it is very unique release because I built it with the feelings that I was feeling in each of those experiences that were leaving their mark on me throughout this year.
I define "Loyalty" as a jewel because it is a track that bears the name of the characteristic that most identifies me; and it is because of that loyalty and fidelity to music and my sound that she has been able to reward me to the point of fulfilling many dreams. That is why this album is a tribute to her, the music that has allowed me to meet great people and live the best sensations and experiences of my life.
